This week’s burning questions for the Browns are as follows: with Super Bowl LVIII behind them, what will happen to Nick Chubb’s contract? The NFL is officially entering the offseason, and the team has a lot of work ahead of it.

After the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, the 2023 season came to an end, and football fans now had to prepare for six months without the sport. As the Browns assemble their roster for the upcoming year, a few significant decisions loom big. We’ll address the most important queries the franchise has as they prepare for 2024 every week. Now let’s address number four!
Is there any chance for Cleveland to win a Super Bowl while Patrick Mahomes is on the field?
Following Patrick Mahomes’ third ring victory in five seasons, I feel that fans of the Browns and other teams aren’t quite as filled with “hope” that 2019 will be “their teams year.” Mahomes mere existence in the NFL is becoming a frustrating reality for the rest of the league as he continues to reduce AFC and NFC opponents to footnotes in NFL history.

It’s really amazing to watch. After all, this was supposed to be a rebuilding year for Kansas City, and that was evident on the offensive end of the ball. And yet, there Mahomes was on Sunday raising another Lombardi trophy. I know Browns fans are probably thinking, “What’s the point?,” but there’s a reason why these games are played. In the end, Cleveland’s chances of defeating the Chiefs primarily depend on Deshaun Watson’s ability to return to his previous level of quality. If he can, the Browns won’t have to waste this window; if he can’t, well, then Cleveland will probably be left with few options.
