Police report: Raiders player arrested for DUI after hitting woman at Las Vegas resort
LAS VEGAS (KSNV)— A Raiders player was detained on suspicion of DUI after reportedly striking a woman in the valet area of a Las Vegas Strip casino last week, according to a police report.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, Janarius Robinson, 24, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at the Aria for impaired driving.
Police were dispatched to the resort when a woman was hit by a vehicle and “became pinned between two cars,” according to the report. She was brought to the hospital before police arrived.
According to the report, surveillance video saw Robinson “getting in and out of the vehicle at [5:48 a.m.] following the incident.”
An officer interviewed Robinson and reported that he had “a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his person” and “bloodshot and watery” eyes.
Details about how many drinks Robinson claimed he had and when he last drank were censored, as were the results of field sobriety tests. Police reported that they had gotten a warrant for a blood draw.
Court records show that Robinson was discharged on his own recognizance. His next court appearance is set for June 4.
A defensive end, Robinson signed with the Raiders’ practice squad before the beginning of the 2023 season. He was elevated to the active roster in November and appeared in six games for Las Vegas.
