Nottingham Forest sent Djed Spence transfer message amid Tottenham update.
The future of Nottingham Forest promotion winner Djed Spence has sparked debate among Reds fans.
The right-back could be on the move again this summer after a succession of loan spells since his big money move to Tottenham Hotspur two years ago. According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are expected to let “several” players leave the club this summer – with Spence among those “set to” depart.
The 23-year-old spent the second half of the season just gone with Italian outfit Genoa after a switch to Leeds United ended early. Before that, he had a stint with Rennes in the 2022/23 campaign.

The defender was a key player as the Reds sealed their place back in the Premier League in 2022. On loan from Middlesbrough at the time, he shone in the Garibaldi as he racked up 46 appearances and scored three goals for the club.
Plenty of Forest fans would love to have seen him sign on a permanent basis that summer, but he headed to the capital. It hasn’t quite worked out for him since, and with his future up in the air again Reds supporters have been debating whether they would like to see him back at the City Ground.
