Lions’ Week 5 Thursday Injury Report
The Detroit Lions have several players who have been limited participants in practice this week.
Frank Ragnow returned to practice as a full participant Thursday, while Brian Branch, Jason Cabinda and Amon-Ra St. Brown continued to remain non-participants.
If Kerby Joseph and Emmanuel Moseley are able to suit up, Aaron Glenn’s defense will have additional depth to match up against the No. 1 pick in this past year’s draft, quarterback Bryce Young.
Young has been acclimating to life in the NFL. Meanwhile, the Panthers have opened the 2023 season with four straight losses.
The hope is that Detroit’s defense will again make life difficult for a young signal-caller, en route to the team’s fourth victory of the season.
“He processes really, really well. It’s hard for a rookie quarterback in this league, especially off the jump coming in and starting. But, you see the talent, you see him process, you see him make full field reads,” said Aaron Glenn. “I tell you what, he’s an impressive young man. It’s the reason why he did the things he did in college, and you can see him being a top-flight quarterback as the years go by. He’s doing some really good things.”
