Door open for West Ham united to sign 22-year-old in the January transfer window as Liverpool reportedly make big U-turn
Liverpool may well be about to hand West Ham United a fantastic chance to sign a supremely talented midfielder in the January transfer window.
According to an exclusive report from This Is Anfield, Liverpool are in fact not planning to try and sign West Ham target Andre Trindade in the January transfer window.
That’s great news for Hammers boss David Moyes, who was strongly linked with a move to sign the Fluminese star back in the summer.
And with the Brazilian season set to finish in December, the door could now be wide open for West Ham to make a move for the talented midfield destroyer.
West Ham handed January transfer window boost
Liverpool are apparently now not planning to make a move to sign Andre Trindade, according to This Is Anfield
Moyes made some great signings in the summer, but more additions are required if we are to challenge on all fronts.
That report is in stark contrast to a claim that emerged earlier this week suggesting that Jurgen Klopp wants to bring the tenacious tackling South American to Anfield in January.
So with the Reds apparently having changed their minds, West Ham surely must act.
The defensive midfielder is a real talent and already has two international caps for Brazil to his name.
The Fluminese star is a really tenacious tackler and has energy and athleticism in abundance. He’s actually very similar to Casemiro in the way that he plays.
Andre would be a truly huge signing for us in my opinion…
In 24 league appearances for Fluminese this season, Andre has averaged two tackles and 1.2 interceptions per game. During those outings he has made 81 passes per match on average, registering an unbelievably impressive completion rate of 94.6% in the process. (Who Scored).
West Ham desperately need to bring in more competition for Edson Alvarez, and I believe that Andre Trindade would be the perfect signing for us this in the January transfer window.
With Liverpool allegedly having made a complete U-turn on the Brazilian, the door could well be wide open for the Hammers to make a move for his signature.
