Leicester City has overcome the most difficult phases of this demanding Championship schedule despite the loss of numerous first-team players to injury at different points during the season. However, Enzo Maresca is gradually assembling the Foxes team at maximum strength as they get ready for the last portion of the season.

Negotiations in January weren’t especially easy; City lost Cesare Casadei when he was on loan, and several players left to play for their respective nations in the Asian Cup or the AFCON. Maresca’s first-team options were somewhat limited for a while due to the lack of incoming business, but it appears that City has resolved those problems.

The Hornets play Southampton in their FA Cup fourth round replay on Tuesday night, meaning Leicester will have an extra day to prepare for their hosts this weekend as they aim for yet another crucial away victory in a week. After that, they go to Watford. Here is a list of Seagrave’s injuries.

Vestergaard, who was given a fresh start under Maresca this season and is a pillar in the defense alongside Wout Faes, needed to be replaced at the half of Saturday’s 5-0 victory over Stoke City due to a reported muscular issue. How serious the issue is is still up in the air.

Potential return date: When Maresca talks with the media this coming weekend before heading to Watford, we’ll see how Vestergaard’s week has gone.
